If A = 1 and B = 1 then A = B.

Multiply each side of the equation by B
AB = B²

Sustract A² at both sides of the equation
AB - A² = B² - A²

Factoring
A*(B-A) = (B-A)*(B+A)

Simplyfing redundant terms
A = B + A

Since we start off within the assumption that A=1 and B=1..
1 = 2
